My education has been rather unique in that it has revolved less around trying to remember unimportant answers on a test and more around trying to apply what I've learned in the real world via self created projects that demonstrate my abilities. Criminal Justice

Comments: This is a design for an investigative sim

Comments: This game concept was the one that sparked my interest in game design. As a galactic conquest strategy game it gave me the chance to design algorithmic systems that mimic the binding rules of the galaxy while allowing for a fun and fair play experience.

Lost Colony

Comments: This was the first game project that I helped to complete. Most of my work was behind the scenes productions work such as maintaining documentation and attempting to light the fire under less enthusiastic team members and helping to design gameplay systems

Comments: This project marked the beginning of my journalism and public relations work. The game design skills which I had been honing for four years were put to the test when I was tasked with analyzing the work of professional game developers while appealing the analysis to the gaming audience.

Let’s Talk Trains Virtual Railroading Correspondent

Comments: This is another project where journalism and pubic relations coupled with my knowledge of game design and audio production are the driving force. During my time on the show I’ve interviewed developers, shared my knowledge of the game industry and developed a public persona on live radio!

Sky Blue Radio Personally

Status: Continuous Production
Comments: I host a bi-weekly three hour FM style internet radio show for Skyblueradio.com. During the live shows I select music, take requests from listeners and provide content relative to the world of flight simulation. Regular shows air at 900 zulu on Fridays and 1800z on Sundays.

Nicnacjak.com Podcast
Start Date: May 15th 2006
Status: Continuous Production
Comments: On my podcast I post a verity of commentaries on matters of personal interest the subject matter ranges from investigations into current events to game reviews. In the time since I’ve completed college my podcast has become my primary focus.
